Akademia GTR documents
Akademia GTR Sales and Use Terms and Conditions
Version dated 29 October 2026.
1. Scope
These Terms govern orders, payments, accounts and access to online courses, on-site training and educational materials offered through Akademia GTR.
The Terms are available free of charge before an order is placed and may be saved or printed.
2. Seller and contact

3. Key definitions
- Academy means the Akademia GTR website.
- Customer means a natural person, legal person or organisational unit placing an order.
- Consumer means a natural person purchasing for purposes not directly related to their trade, business or profession.
- Protected Sole Trader means a natural person entering into a contract directly related to their business where the contract is not of a professional nature for that person under Polish law.
- Digital Content includes recordings, online courses, tests, files and other materials supplied electronically.
- On-site Training means a service delivered at the place and time stated in the offer or order confirmation.
- Account means the Customer’s individual access to purchased content and order history.
- Seat means one right to participate in training, which a company Customer may assign to a named participant.
- Participant means a person assigned a Seat who accesses the training through their own Account.
4. Technical requirements and Account
Using the Academy requires an internet-connected device, a current web browser, essential cookies and an active email address.
A purchase may be made after signing in or as a guest. For a guest purchase, an Account is prepared for the email address used in the order. After payment confirmation, the Customer receives a one-time password setup link.
The Customer must protect their password and must not share an Account with third parties. Suspected unauthorised access should be reported to the Seller.
An Account may be signed in on one device at a time. Signing in on another device ends the session on the previous one.
For company purchases, the buyer’s Account is used to manage paid Seats. Each Participant must use their own Account.
The Customer must not provide unlawful content, interfere with the Academy, bypass access controls or use another person’s Account. The Seller may temporarily restrict access only to the extent necessary to protect the Academy, other users or the law and will explain the reason unless prohibited by law or security considerations.
The Account is free of charge. The Customer may request its closure at any time by emailing the Seller. Closing the Account does not erase records which the Seller must retain by law or for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims, and does not automatically terminate an ongoing paid training contract.
5. Placing an order and concluding the contract
- The Customer selects training and, where applicable, an available edition, then adds it to the cart.
- The Customer provides the information required to fulfil the order and may provide invoice details.
- The Customer reviews these Terms and the Privacy Policy and gives any required statements.
- The final order button clearly communicates the obligation to pay.
- The Customer continues to the payment provider assigned to the selected offer, either Tpay or Stripe.
The contract is concluded when the Seller confirms receipt of payment. An order confirmation is sent to the Customer’s email address.
For company purchases, the Customer chooses the number of Seats for each item. The item price equals the unit price multiplied by the number of Seats, less any discounts displayed before payment.
The Seller may refuse an order in the event of an obvious pricing error, unavailable training or a justified suspicion of abuse. Any amount already collected will then be refunded.
6. Prices, discounts and payments
The price displayed with the training and in the cart is the gross price in the currency assigned to that offer, normally PLN for Polish offers and EUR for English offers. The Customer sees the full amount due and all applied discounts before purchase.
Online payments are processed by Tpay or Stripe according to the payment profile shown for the offer. Available payment methods depend on the provider’s current service.
Selected training may be paid in full or in two instalments. Before ordering, the Academy separately shows the amount due now, the later balance and the total training price. The total price for instalment payment may be higher than the pay-in-full price.
The first instalment confirms the Seat reservation. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days before training begins. The Academy sends a payment link 14 days before training and sends reminders 7, 3 and 1 day before training until the payment provider confirms payment.
A missed balance due date does not automatically cancel the order. The Seller contacts the Customer to resolve payment. Participation requires payment of the full price unless the parties agree otherwise.
Instalment payment has a separate total price and does not automatically combine with discount codes, cart discounts or campaigns unless the specific promotion expressly states otherwise. Partner codes and the Malarz-Piaskarz NORSOK M-501 course code also apply to instalment payment: the first instalment stays the same and the discount reduces the remaining balance.
Discount codes and cart discounts cannot be exchanged for cash. If a specific promotion states otherwise, the terms presented before purchase take priority.
Where the Seller announces a price reduction to Consumers, the Academy also presents the lowest price applied during the legally required reference period. An individual code does not change the price or other terms until it has been accepted by the Academy and shown in the order summary.
Malarz-Piaskarz NORSOK M-501 and the “Antykorozja od podstaw” online course
The price of the Malarz-Piaskarz NORSOK M-501 course includes access to the “Antykorozja od podstaw” online course. Access is activated after payment for the enrolment is confirmed, under the online-course rules in section 7.
A Customer who bought the “Antykorozja od podstaw” online course separately and, within 12 months of that purchase, buys the Malarz-Piaskarz NORSOK M-501 course for the same person receives a PLN 990 gross reduction of that course price. One online-course purchase entitles the Customer to one reduction. After paying for the online course, the Customer receives by e-mail a single-use discount code valid for 12 months and obtains the reduction by entering it when ordering the Malarz-Piaskarz course in the Academy. One discount code can be used per order, so the reduction does not combine with other codes. If the Customer orders the Malarz-Piaskarz course outside the Academy or cannot use the code, the Seller settles the reduction after the Customer’s request: in the offer, on the invoice or by refunding the difference if the Customer has already paid the full price.
7. Order delivery
Online courses and Digital Content
If the Customer gives the legally required request and consent to begin delivery before the withdrawal period expires, access is activated after payment confirmation. The offer or order confirmation specifies the access period, programme and material scope.
Seats purchased for a company
After payment confirmation, the Customer assigns Seats through the company dashboard. An invitation is sent to the Participant’s email and remains valid for 7 days. The Participant accepts the Seat after signing in with the invited email or creating an Account through the one-time link.
Before acceptance, the Customer may withdraw the assignment, correct the details or name another Participant. After acceptance, reassignment requires contacting the Seller to protect the Participant’s progress, certificates and Account.
On-site Training
The selected date appears in the cart, payment summary, order confirmation and purchase history. The offer or organisational confirmation provides the venue, requirements and practical details.
If the Seller cancels training, the Seller will offer a new date or refund the full payment.
Organisational cancellation rules for a specific date do not limit a Consumer’s statutory rights.
8. Cancellation or change of an On-site Training date
This section applies only after any statutory withdrawal right has expired or does not apply. It does not restrict statutory remedies for non-conformity, delay or cancellation attributable to the Seller.
If the Customer cancels at least 14 full days before the training starts, the Seller refunds the full amount paid within 14 days after receiving the cancellation.
If the Customer cancels later, the Seller may deduct only documented, non-recoverable costs incurred specifically for that Customer’s participation, up to 50% of the price. The Seller provides a calculation of the deduction. Any remaining amount is refunded within 14 days after receiving the cancellation.
Instead of cancelling, the Customer may, without an administrative fee, name another eligible Participant or request one transfer to another available date. A transfer depends on available capacity and any objective admission requirements stated in the offer. Amounts already paid are credited towards the replacement date; any price difference is agreed before the transfer.
If the Seller cancels a date, the Customer may choose another available date or a full refund. The Seller does not deduct organisational costs in that case.
9. Right of withdrawal
A Consumer and a Protected Sole Trader may generally withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days after the contract is concluded. This statutory period is calculated from the contract date, not from the training date.
A withdrawal statement may be sent to office@gtr-engineering.com or by post to the Seller. The template below may be used but is not mandatory.
For paid Digital Content not supplied on a tangible medium, the right of withdrawal may be lost after the Seller has performed the agreed supply if the Customer gave prior express consent, acknowledged that consequence and received confirmation of the contract.
If a service begins at the Consumer’s express request before the 14-day period ends, a proportionate amount may be due for the service delivered before withdrawal. The right may expire after full performance if all statutory conditions are met.

10. Complaints and conformity with the contract
The Seller is responsible for conformity of the service, Digital Content and digital service with the contract under applicable law.
Complaints may be submitted to office@gtr-engineering.com or by post to the Seller. Providing the order number, a description of the issue, the requested remedy and contact details will help the Seller handle the matter, but a Consumer complaint will not be rejected solely because it does not follow a template.
The Seller responds to a Consumer complaint within 14 days unless a shorter mandatory period applies. Consumers may obtain free assistance from a municipal or district consumer ombudsman or use an appropriate out-of-court consumer dispute resolution procedure. Participation in such a procedure is considered separately after a complaint is exhausted.

11. Copyright
Academy materials are protected by copyright. Purchase grants the Customer a right to personal use within the scope described in the offer. Without the rights holder’s consent, materials may not be copied, made publicly available, resold or shared through another person’s login details.
Videos and other materials may not be downloaded or recorded, including with screen-recording software or functions. Videos may display the Account email address so that the source of an unauthorised copy can be identified. If these rules are breached, the Seller may suspend access to the materials until the matter is clarified and may pursue claims under copyright law.
12. Personal data and final provisions
Personal data processing is described in the Akademia GTR Privacy Policy.
Polish law applies to contracts. These Terms do not exclude or limit rights arising from mandatory law.
Changes to the Terms do not affect acquired rights or orders already placed. Customers using continuous services will receive reasonable prior notice of material changes.
